Last week, our favorite NYC chef ventured out to Kennebunkport, Maine to host The White Barn Inn’s Guest Chef Series, (at which he prepared a delicious gazpacho consomme with avocado mouse). Taking in all the picturesque scenery Maine has to offer, it was a weekend as easy on the taste buds as it was on the eyes.

Last week, the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival hosted a party at The Venue celebrating this year’s annual event. Featuring the savory from chef Kelly English (Restaurant Iris), Ford Fry (JCT Kitchen),Tandy Wilson (City House), & the sweet from Scott Witherow (Olive and Sinclair Chocolate Co.), it was a finger-lickin’ good night. Guests enjoyed vino courtesy ofBlackberry Farm’s sommelier Andy Chabot.

Joey at New York Times Travel Show this past Saturday. He showed the audience how to make his delicious mushroom risotto.
For Valentine’s Day this year at The Venue, we hosted a Mardi Gras themed dinner party. Featuring Bayou inspired dishes like shrimp etouffe & chicken and andouille sausage jambalaya, fresh cocktails & bubbly, plus live music by Jesse Lege & the Bayou Brew, it was a fun & romantic night.
